“Why can’t we just build a blockchain email?”
Frustrated with the ability of the large tech companies to read our email, we set to work solving the issue of tech companies, government agencies, and even hackers being able to peek into our email. But we didn’t stop there. Now, we can’t give you all the details yet, but we can tell you that it’s going to be an online privacy platform encompassing many of the tools you’re already using. And you’re going to want an account.
So why blockchain? Blockchain makes it:
- encrypted - the data is turned into an unbreakable cipher;
- decentralized - the data is broken up and stored in multiple locations so a hacker would only ever get a part of the encrypted data;
- private - only the people involved in the conversation would have access to the email or attachments.
Mula: Reimagining everyday tools to protect your data without you noticing
Once you enter the Mula ecosystem, every action you take is anonymized and not tagged to your identity. The content and subject of emails are always private. Only the anonymized action, reward preferences, etc. will ever be used to create better security and a better user experience. User data is NEVER to be sold or shared with 3rd parties.
If you don’t know what the product is, you’re the product. What we know as ‘free’ is just selling and reselling our data to anyone who wants it. We don’t want to do that. We believe in privacy. Not only is your data anonymized, but we believe that your data is yours - to sell, to donate, to give away - but the choice is yours. Mula will roll out in phases.
